The Bamenda Provincial Episcopal Conference is one of the five Ecclesiastical Provinces of Cameroon and is made up of the Archdiocese of Bamenda, the Diocese of Buea, the Diocese of Kumbo, the Diocese of Mamfe and the Diocese of Kumba.
The Bishops of this Ecclesiastical Conference founded the Catholic University of Cameroon (CATUC) in 2010 and are the owners of the University. They form the Board of Trustees of the University.
The Chancellor
The Chancellor of the Catholic University of Cameroon (CATUC) is the Archbishop of Bamenda, His Grace Andrew FuanyaNkea, who is also the Metropolitan of the Province and Vice President of the National Episcopal Conference of Cameroon (NECC).
The Pro Chancellor
The Pro – Chancellor of the University is His Lordship George Nkuo, Bishop of Kumbo Diocese. He is currently the President of the Bamenda Provincial Episcopal Conference (BAPEC).

The Vice Chancellor
Fr Joseph Awoh Jum is the Vice Chancellor of the Catholic University of Cameroon (CATUC) Bamenda. Appointed to CATUC in 2013 to succeed Bishop Andrew Nkea as Registrar, he was appointed Acting Vice Chancellor in August 2016, a post which he cumulated with his job as Registrar. In August 2017 he was appointed Vice Chancellor.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academics (DVCA)

The Registrar
In August 2018, the Bishops of the Bamenda Ecclesiastical Province appointed Fr. Eugen Nkardzedze, Registrar for the Catholic University of Cameroon after he had worked one year as Acting Registrar. He is also covering for the Deputy Registrar for Students’ Affairs.
The Director of Finance

The Director of Teaching and Examinations
Fr Peter Takov was appointed Director of Teaching in 2016 and is serving his second term in that office. Prior to his appointment to CATUC, Fr. Takov had been teaching Philosophy in St. Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary in Bambui for several years.
