Embracing Excellence: Level 4th Medicine Students’ White Coat Ceremony at CATUC Bamenda
The Catholic University of Bamenda’s Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences proudly presents the White Coat Ceremony for our Level 4th Medicine students!
The White Coat Ceremony marks a significant milestone in the journey of our future physicians. This time-honored tradition symbolizes their commitment to the values of compassion, empathy, and excellence in healthcare. After 3 years of rigorous course work, Medicine Level 4th students underwent the White coat ceremony on the 30th of October 2024, which took place on Campus marking the beginning of their transformation into compassionate and skilled Healthcare professionals.
The Ceremony Highlights were:
– Keynote addresses by the Vice Chancellor Fr. Giles Forteh Ngwa, the Deputy Vice Chancellor Fr. Peter Takov and the Registrar Fr. John Berinyuy.
– Remarks by the Provost of SHMS, the HOD of SHMS and some teachers from the school of health and medical sciences (SHMS).
– Coat presentation to students.
– Oath-taking by Level 4th Medicine students.
