The Chancellor

Rev. Dr. Giles Ngwa Forteh

Rev. Dr. Giles Ngwa Forteh  is a visionary leader and accomplished academic who has served as the Chancellor of CATUC Bamenda since 2021. With over 25 years of experience in higher education leadership, Rev. Dr. Giles Ngwa Forteh has been instrumental in shaping the university’s reputation as a global hub for academic excellence and innovation.

Education & Background:

  • Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology – University of Yaoundé

  • M.A. in Social and Cultural Anthropology – University of Yaoundé

  • Bachelors degree in Theology – Saint Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary, Bambui.

  • Bachelors degree in Philosophy – Saint Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary, Bambui.

Achievements:

Rev. Dr. Giles Ngwa Forteh's leadership style blends academic rigor with a deep commitment to student success. He was the Principal of Regina Pacis College Mutengene; The Assistant National Secretary for Catholic Education in the National Episcopal Conference of Cameroon Yaounde; The National Secretary for Catholic Education; The Representative of Catholic Education at the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Council and so many other achievements

Notable Work:

He is the author of several Articles on Anthropology, economic growth, and education reform, and a keynote speaker at international academic summits.
