ENTRANCE EXAMINATION INTO THE DEPARTMENT OF MEDICINE OF THE SCHOOL OF HEALTH AND MEDICAL SCIENCES OF THE CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY OF CAMEROON, BAMENDA FOR THE KUMBO CAMPUS
The Catholic University of Cameroon (CATUC) announces for the interest of parents and prospective candidates that her School of Health and Medical Sciences (Kumbo) has again been granted 30 places only for the admission of students into the Medical School for the 2017/2018 academic year. We are into the third year of our existence. Candidates who wish to do Medicine with us MUST register for the National Entrance Examination into Medical Schools in Cameroon and CHOOSE The School of Health And Medical Sciences – Kumbo. If they choose any other School but are not taken because of numbers, they cannot be transferred to Kumbo because the rules currently don’t allow for the transfer of such candidates. Choosing Kumbo increases their chances of going to Medical School.

OTHER DEGREES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Biomedical Sciences (B.Med.Sc) – 3 Years. It is possible for a student who completes this degree course to proceed to the Fourth Year of Medicine.
Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences, BMLS (4 Years)
Bachelor of Nursing Sciences, BNS, (4 Years)
HND in Medical Laboratory Science and Nursing (2 Years + 1 Year Hospital Internship)
Completion Courses are available for holders of SRN/HND/HPD
Entry Qualification: GCE ‘O’ (with a pass in Biology,Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics) and ‘A’ Level ( with a pass Biology & Chemistry) OR Probatoire and BAC C or D.
