School of Health Sciences' Preparatory Program
The School of Health Sciences Preparatory Program is a one year course designed to help students enhance their credentials, and science background in order to qualify for entrance into the Department of Medicine at the School of Health Sciences. This course guides students through their decision to study medicine. Also, the students will be provided with tips on how to work on certain areas of their experience in order to prepare for the medical course. This is to ensure that studying medicine is compatible with the students’ skills, strength and career aspirations.

Candidates must have passed at least 2 GCE Advanced Level subjects, one in Biology, Botany, Zoology or Human Biology, and the other in another science subject. The Baccalaureate series C and D are also acceptable.

Consistent students on this course are have a competive advantage with the knowledge they will acquire to succeed in the competitive entrance examination in the school of health sciences that will enable them do a program in the school of health sciences that they have been preparing for in the course of the year.
