Undergraduate Program in Marketing.

 
 
 

Mission Statement

The mission of the Department of Marketing is to stand out as one of the foremost leading marketing departments in the Cameroonian higher educational landscape. This shall be attained through the recruitment, development, support, and retention of high-quality staff and students.


Objectives of theMarketing Department
The objectives of the Department of Marketing are to:

1. Equip students with tools that enable them to function as professional marketers in a rapidly changing business world.
2.The department will also prepare students (both at the undergraduate and graduate levels) for professional and ethical marketing practices in a competitive, diverse, and global environment.


Education

The curriculum the program is carefully selected to meet up the demands of its objectives. We also have a carefully chosen and well experienced staff in place who are willing to handle student academic problems at any time. Our student-teacher ratio also enable the students to benefit alot from their teachers.


Internship

Students must complete an eight week long industrial attachment at the end of the second semester of the second year. This practical on-site work experience provides the student the opportunity to gain industrial experience before they graduate. Student assessment will be based on the students’ on- the job performance and on a comprehensive report written by the student.


Admission Requirements

General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level passes in at least two subjects in addition to the university’s requirements.


Future, Career and Employment

Upon graduation, students from the Department of Marketing shall be apt to fill various positions related to the marketing domain as well as other domains in the private, government, and not-for-profit making organistions.


Also, the bright ones are encouraged to go in for a graduate program in CATUC or any world class university of their choice.


Fees
The tuition fee per year is 639 500 F CFA for Cameroonians and 1,039,500 F CFA for foreign students. To read more about fees  click here.
