The Catholic University of Cameroon (CATUC), Bamenda, desirous of sharing her quality academic and professional culture with as many Cameroonians as possible, has opened a new Campus at Baham in the West Region. Baham is the perfect choice because of its great climate, its calm and conducive atmosphere and its accessibility from many major cities in Cameroon.

This campus opened in November 2019 for the 2019/2020 academic year and is hosting only Engineering students. From the 2020/2021 academic year, CATUC Baham will welcome the students of Engineering, Business and Management Sciences (Degree and HND) and Tropical Agriculture and Natural Resources. From the 2019/2020 academic year, the first five students to enrol for Tropical Agriculture benefit from a 50% discount on tuition fees.

As with other campuses, registration of students begins on the 1st of August each year and lectures begin in early October.

Currently, we run the two semester system for all our undergraduate degree programmes. This means that the academic year usually begins in October and ends in September of the following year when the University Senate endorses the results of re-sit examinations.

For undergraduate degree programmes, therefore, admissions are carried out in August and September of each year. Candidates may be considered for late admission BEFORE the first Continuous Assessment (CA) tests for the academic year. It is important to note that late admission attracts a fee.

Admissions to our postgraduate degree programmes run from August till October, since postgraduate lectures begin in the first week of January each year. This enables students who need to do supplementary courses to fulfill admission conditions to do so. Even though we might still accept candidates on the postgraduate programmes after October, they will be disadvantaged if they have supplementary courses to validate.
